There is a pressure point at the base of the skull, right on the middle of the neck, which according to Chinese medicine is known as “feng fu”. There are different ways which you could use to stimulate this “feng fu” point, such as sticking it with a needle, putting the right pressure on it or just putting an ice cube on the spot. Acupuncture also uses this technique.

Here’s the simple trick. Lie on your stomach and place an ice cube on the “feng fu” point which is actually where your head ends, in the middle of the neck. The ice cube would stay because there’s a prefect little natural hole there. You should lie still, keeping the ice cube for about half an hour. Also, you should do this on an empty stomach, every morning, and every night before going to bed.
Also, if you don’t feel like lying down, sometimes you could use a scarf as an alternative, to hold the ice cube. But beware that the ice cube will melt faster this way.
